Aysha Almoayyed lives and works in Bahrain. Her work is inherently experimental and encompassed drawing, photography and installation. Central to her work in an exploration of Bahrain, its society and transformation of the built and natural environment. The artist holds a master’s degree in Fine Arts from Goldsmith’s University, London. Almoayyed exhibited in Paris, London, Hangzhou and Bahrain and in 2015, she was the youngest winner of Bahrain’s Al Dana Prize, the highest honor the country bestows on its artists during the annual Fine Art Exhibition.
