Born in 1962 in Catanzaro, Italy, where he lives and works, Claudio Parentela is an illustrator, painter, digital painter, photographer, mail artist, cartoonist, collagist, textile artist, free lance, journalis, and tarologist. Active since many years in the international contemporary art scene, he describes his art as freaky, stylish, anarchic, colorful, raw and dreamy. He has collaborated with many art magazines in Italy and in the world.
