Joyce Jazz was born in Luanda, Angola, in 1997. At the age of 3, she met and gained a taste for painting, influenced by her father, Paulo Jazz, who is currently her mentor and teacher. Joyce considers herself a Cubist, but loves to explore other styles and other art forms, such as ceramics, which she ended up taking a course on. She loves photography, music and communication. With art, Joyce represents everything that surrounds her and music is her soundtrack in her creative moment. In 2019, she participated in the Universal Exhibition Beyond The veil Women's art in honor of the eighth anniversary of the Venice Biennale. With this exhibition, she had the opportunity to represent Angola in several countries such as France, Poland and EUA. In addition to being a visual artist, she is a student and YouTuber of reference in Angola.
