Artist Profile
Joaquin Croxatto
Formally trained artist from Buenos Aires
Joaquin Croxatto is a formally trained AD and Fine Artist who received his B.F.A. at the University of Buenos Aires in 2007. Joaquin has studied fine arts and design for two decades, most recently at the Art Students League with instructors Dan Thompson, Costa Vavagiakis and James Little. His paintings consist of sophisticated color relations set in a strict geometric grid that condense forms and figures in unexpected visual directions. He works with traditional techniques and the power of suggestion to deconstruct known and familiar subjects under intricate mechanical patterns into a subtle visual design with symbolic elements.
