From a young age Aquilas Wanmegni Yepjio loved art. At the start of his secondary studies, he participated the drawing training organized by Les brasseries du Cameroun. Once he obtained his Bachelor'S degree, he chose to pursue art. Aquilas was then admitted to the Nkongsamba Institute of Fine Arts where he completed the Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts and Art History.
