Shannon Knowlton is a mixed media and fiber artist living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Shannon has worked with textiles for most of her life, quilting, knitting, crocheting, and embroidering. From her little garden studio, she currently works in mixed media with thread, beads, and found materials. Sustainability is important to her so she tries to mostly use discarded objects from her own home.S he weaves her background in textiles into her mixed media pieces with her use of cross-stitch and embroidery.
