Claudia Robles-Gil
Emerging artist originally from Mexico
Claudia Robles-Gil is a 27-year-old emerging artist from Mexico City. Growing up between Mexico & the US led her to draw artistic inspiration from her time in both countries. During her years in Boston, she attended MassArt Studio classes and earn two honorable mentions in the Boston Globe Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Claudia received her B.S. in Psychology from Tufts University in 2018. While at Tufts, Claudia attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA) & presented her work in several exhibitions and literary magazines based in Mexico City, Boston, and Munich, Germany. In 2021, Claudia moved to NYC, where she is presently based. She continues her art training at the Art Students League of New York. Claudia specializes in creating vibrant oil paintings that showcase the emotional depths of nature, culture, and people. Recurring themes in her art include the fleeting beauty and wisdom of the natural world, and its profound interconnectedness with the human psyche. Claudia's art closely interweaves these themes with her cultural identity.
