Mona Kalahroodi (b.1996, Shiraz, Iran). She began painting and sculpting earnestly during her school years and participated in several group exhibitions. Mona held her first solo exhibition titled “Existence” at the Soo Contemporary. This exhibition featured sculptures and paintings inspired by the artist’s observations of nature, meticulously capturing these states and forms into other faces in the form of faces screaming. Another part of Mona’s paintings depicted her memories from her school days, classmates, and the school choir group. She portrayed faces that remained in her memory from years past, along with the bitter memories of her school days.
