Cynthia Saenz Sancho
Equestrian artist from Costa Rica
Born in San José-Costa Rica, Cynthia Saenz Sancho grew up up on a farm where she developed a great sensitivity for animals, especially horses. She finished the Esempi Art school, and studied Advertising Design at the Veritas University. In her works you can see a rich surreal, mysterious, poetic and narrative texture; with an original and characteristic style intensified by her passion for horses, where aspects of the equestrian world are detailed. The world of her chimeras involves women, horses and horns, reaching strong decisions in her personal growth and evolution as an artist, used as metaphors of power or weakness they become focal points in her work. Her works are in private collections and as well as in public art projects in countries such as: Costa Rica, Canada, France, United States, Switzerland, Argentina, Turkey, Australia, Guatemala, Panama and Russia.
