Otto Hernandez was born and raised in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador in Central America. At the age of 11, Otto knew he wanted to be an artist. After turning 19 years old, this Latin American artist traveled to Brazil to study art. While studying art masters such as Leonardo da Vinci and Rembrandt van Rijn, Otto discovered his passion for portraits. Their style offered a spiritual connection between language and expression that inspired Otto to paint and draw portraits. Otto portrays the beauty and intelligence of women in particularly. In 2019, Otto attended his first artist residency at Chateau Orquevaux. The following year, he returned as a volunteer. Otto hopes to continue residing in France and his goal is to produce good work. In the future, he hopes to travel through Europe.
