From a young age, Abigail Albano-Payton (b.1999) has used visual art to explore the world that surrounds her. Over the years, she began to raise discussions on social and racial equity, recognition and home life within her work. Her body of work ranges from large scale paintings of BIPOC experiences, to intimate multi-media representations of individuals close to her. She graduated with a BFA in Fine Arts at Laguna College of Art + Design, California in 2021.Abigail uses traditional skills to create pictures of modern scenes. She aims to create art that provides a homage for comfort, with a remembrance to marginalized individuals within history and in her own community.
