Sidney Simone Boria is a New Yorker born and raised, with a rich cultural heritage rooted in Puerto Rican and South African roots. She is a painter, photographer, and chef, who navigates life between New York and Puerto Rico, drawing inspiration from both places. After studying Fine Art at LaGuardia High School in 2013, Sidney earned a BFA in Graphic Design with honors from The University of the Arts in 2017, where she received a merit-based scholarship. Though English is her first language, she’s actively learning Spanish, embracing the phrase "arroz con lo que tenemos" (making do with what you’ve got), which resonates deeply with her process-driven approach to art and life. Sidney is committed to finding balance through wise-mind and believes the journey of creation is as significant as the finished piece.
