Ángel is a visual artist from Asunción, Paraguay, with a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from Asunción National University, where he also teaches and coordinates in the arts faculty. His multidisciplinary practice centers on photography and video, often exploring urban life, environmental relationships, and everyday experiences. A member of the “Contraluz” collective, he has received several recognitions, including the Second Matisse Prize in 2024. Ángel’s work is marked by a sensitive, process-driven approach that incorporates emerging technologies like AR and AI, as well as traditional and experimental media.
