Ish Lipman, born in San Francisco and raised in Los Angeles, earned his BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2018. He went on to attend the Skowhegan School of Painting and Drawing in 2019. He is currently pursuing his MFA in Painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
