Rafa Cavalheri is a Brazilian visual artist, educator, and LGBTQIA+ activist based in São Paulo, currently completing a BA in Fashion Design at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi (graduating in 2025). With a strong background in art education and sustainable fashion, Rafa has over five years of experience teaching fashion creation and has exhibited work in museums across Brazil. Their artistic practice explores the intersections of gender, sustainability, and human rights, often blending drawing, sewing, and urban interventions with fashion-inspired and artisanal techniques like quilting. Founder of a slow fashion brand that reuses waste from their own art projects, Rafa is also active in research, curation, and community-based art and education initiatives throughout São Paulo.
