Tazia Fawley is a self-taught artist with Down’s Syndrome based in Somerset, UK, known for her vibrant seascapes and landscapes full of colour, movement, and joy. Encouraged by her brother to start painting over a decade ago, her first piece—Clifton Suspension Bridge at Night—sold at her debut exhibition, sparking a passion that has since led to the creation of over 70 works, with many sold to private collectors. Working primarily in acrylics, Tazia finds the medium perfectly suited to her expressive and intuitive style. Drawing inspiration from the natural world and supported by her creative family, she continues to exhibit her work locally and share her unique vision with warmth, confidence, and enthusiasm.
