Steffi Faircloth (b. 1997) is a Mexican-American multimedia artist based in Phoenix, Arizona. Raised in the bordertown of Nogales, Arizona, Faircloth’s work draws deeply from her lived experience navigating the complexities of cultural identity and geographic liminality. A graduate of Arizona State University with a BFA in Photography (2019), she explores themes of mundaneness, humor, and popular culture—particularly how mainstream narratives often exclude or misrepresent bordertown communities. Her practice reclaims these everyday visuals, offering a nuanced and often playful lens on cultural dissonance and belonging.
