Bénie Quenum is a multidisciplinary Beninese artist born in 2001, whose creative practice spans painting, storytelling, fashion design, and cosmetology. From an early age, she joined theatre and storytelling troupes, performing on prestigious stages both in Benin and internationally, including the Avignon Off Festival in France and the World Festival of Children’s Theatre in Germany. As a painter, her work explores powerful themes such as Women and Education and Disillusion, while her contributions to fashion include collaborations with various brands and teaching in fashion schools. Driven by a commitment to cultural preservation and social impact, she also launched her own line of natural cosmetics aimed at promoting local raw materials and combating skin depigmentation. Through the fusion of these disciplines, Bénie continues to share her vision of the world and celebrate Beninese heritage through her diverse creative expressions.
