Caroline Lacoma (b. 1997, Guadeloupe) is a London-based multidisciplinary artist working across photography, film, writing, collage, and community engagement. Rooted in self-excavation, her practice investigates transformation, rebirth, and the fluid nature of identity as experienced through the lens of Black womanhood. Through evocative self-portraiture, Lacoma captures the intimate terrain of healing and introspection, blurring the lines between reality and the subconscious. Her work transforms the body into a site of rupture and repair, revealing the quiet resilience of becoming.
