Meghan Murray (b. 1994, Massachusetts) is an artist, educator, and administrator based outside Boston, MA. She earned a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College in 2016 and an MFA in Painting from Boston University in 2022. Working in representational painting, Murray both inhabits and intervenes in historical painterly traditions, using them as a framework to examine cultural memory. Murray is the recipient of the 2022 Blanche E. Colman Award for New England artists and was awarded second place in the 2023 Miami University Young Painters Competition, selected by juror John Yau.
