Hannah Macfarlane (b. 1996) is a Cape Town–based artist working at the intersection of fine art and craft, using traditional wool-working techniques to explore embodied labour, intimacy, and vulnerability. Through wet felting and the transformation of raw wool, her tactile works function as metaphors for the inner and outer body, human connection, and our relationship to nature and the past. She holds a BA Fine Art from the Michaelis School of Fine Art (2020) and has exhibited in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and London
