Malwina Jagora

Artist Profile

Malwina Jagora
Polish visual artist
Malwina Jagora is a Polish visual artist, painter, tattooist, and designer whose practice moves fluidly between fine art, illustration, and body art. A graduate of the Wladyslaw Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lódz(2016), she studied in the Visual Communication studio under Dr. Monika Krygier. Her work often explores themes of intimacy, sensuality, and the human body, originating in her diploma project—a 200-page “Book of Pleasure” featuring minimalist erotic illustrations, later developed into a series of paintings on canvas. Shaped by experiences across Lódz, Kraków, and now Katowice—where she lives and works—Strychalska describes her identity as layered and rooted in place, memory, and relationships. After several years working as a graphic designer, she shifted fully into painting and tattooing in 2018, following a sustained commitment to personal artistic practice. Her work is marked by a balance between playfulness and intimacy, reflecting both conceptual curiosity and a strong sense of visual storytelling.
