Jana Michalovic is an artist whose practice is rooted in personal expression, introspection, and emotional exploration. For Michalovic, art represents a unique space where thoughts and feelings can be communicated freely and authentically, allowing her to delve into deeper emotional layers and reflect on inner experiences. Her paintings emerge through an intuitive creative process that balances sensitivity with self-discovery, resulting in works that evoke atmosphere, vulnerability, and emotional resonance. She studied product and interior design at the Faculty of Arts at STU in Bratislava and has been dedicated to her independent artistic practice since 2014, developing a body of work that bridges design sensibility with expressive visual language.
