Lu Adami
Boston-based artist
Lu Adami (b. 1997) is a Boston-based artist whose interdisciplinary practice in craft examines the expressive potential of color, line, and spatial relationships as vehicles for meaning and social engagement. Adami received a BA with Honors in Visual Arts from Brown University and an MSEd from University of Pennsylvania, and is currently pursuing an MFA at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. Grounded in experiences as an educator working with middle and high school students, their practice is deeply informed by principles of care, collaboration, and culturally responsive pedagogy. Through experimentation with material, process, and form, Adami creates works that bridge personal inquiry with broader social and cultural conversations. Through both studio practice and education, Lu Adami explores how artistic processes can foster reflection, connection, and collective understanding.
