Artist Profile

Eloise Knight (b. 1999) is a British painter based in the United Kingdom whose practice explores nostalgia, memory, and the passage of time through antique and sentimental objects. She earned a BA in Fine Art Painting from Central Saint Martins (2022) and is currently completing an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art (2025). Working with distortion, abstraction, and fragmented composition, Knight reimagines porcelain figures and other domestic objects as vessels of memory, reflecting on how personal and collective recollections shift over time. Her paintings balance intimacy and uncertainty, capturing the tension between permanence and impermanence while inviting reflection on how material objects preserve, alter, and fade emotional histories.
