Ariuntuya Jambaldorj
Neo-nomadic Mongolian artist
Ariuntuya Jambaldorj is a Mongolian artist and educator, a graduate of the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture, where she studied Monumental Art. Working with simple materials such as ink, watercolour, and paper, her multidisciplinary practice explores human existence, the relationship between humanity and nature, and the passage of time. These themes extend across drawing, media art, performance, and animation. Ariuntuya has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, while her animated short film Thread has received international recognition and awards. She has also contributed to the organising team of the 57th Venice Biennale in Italy and currently teaches at Elite International School alongside her ongoing artistic practice.
