Kai-Hsing Huang is a contemporary artist whose practice is rooted in abstract painting and an experimental approach to materials and media. Working primarily with oil and acrylic on canvas, as well as Chinese ink and works on paper, Huang transforms sensory impressions, memories, relationships, philosophical ideas, and fragments of everyday experience into distilled visual forms.
