Artist Profile

Aleksandra Berlinsky is a contemporary artist based in Lithuania. She received her BA in 2008 and MA in 2010 from the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Working primarily in figurative painting, she explores the emotional complexity of everyday life, focusing on desire, relationships, vulnerability, aging, and the quiet rituals that shape human experience. Through bold colours, simplified forms, and playful visual metaphors, Berlinsky transforms ordinary moments into reflections on universal patterns of behaviour. Her practice invites viewers to recognise aspects of themselves in familiar yet subtly transformed situations, balancing humour, psychological observation, and poetic ambiguity.
