Artist Profile

Tara Ann Marie Allen, working under the name CYON FLEX, is a British multidisciplinary artist, singer-songwriter, and author based in Vienna. Her practice spans mixed-media collage, fine art, illustration, comics, music, and storytelling, exploring themes of identity, belonging, emotional sovereignty, power, and resilience. Through hand-drawn, painted, and collage-based works, Allen transforms fragments of paper, printed matter, text, and found materials into new visual narratives. Her process of reusing and recontextualising overlooked elements reflects a broader exploration of transformation, healing, and the creation of meaning from existing experiences and materials.
