Artist Profile

Nagy Sára is a Hungarian painter and poet whose practice explores human vulnerability, isolation, and psychological intensity. A graduate of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, she works primarily with acrylic on paper and canvas, developing a raw visual language in which figuration merges organically with abstraction. Drawing on Central European Expressionism, her solitary figures confront the viewer without masks or idealisation, embracing imperfection and emotional immediacy. Through this intimate focus, Nagy examines the universal dimensions of human existence and the complex depths of the inner self.
