Artist Profile

Luo Hao is a visual artist specialising in black-and-white pen drawing and pencil sketching. He holds a Master’s degree in Arts and Applied Arts from Dhurakij Pundit University in Thailand. His practice is rooted in close observation of the natural world, exploring the forms, textures, and subtle tonal variations of botanical subjects through meticulous linework and delicate shading. Combining traditional drawing techniques with individual approaches to composition and surface, he creates works that balance precision with a quiet, contemplative sensibility. His use of ink washes and layered marks introduces depth and texture, capturing the understated beauty of flowers, leaves, and water. Luo Hao’s work reflects an appreciation for simplicity, harmony, and the restrained aesthetics of Chinese art. He has received Silver Awards in two categories at both the MUSE Creative Awards and the French Design Awards.
