Laura James van Dyke is a textile artist based in Hastings, UK. Her work explores decay, vanitas and the cycle of life. She uses these themes as inspirations to create a harmonious and modern collection of work. Within the theme of decay, she is inspired by both the decay found in nature and the human behaviour inspired by decay, such as graffiti, and why we as people cannot just let something fall to ruin.
