Nana is a Toronto based illustrator/designer of Ghanaian descent. She specialises in art that promotes racial equity, liberation, peace and justice. With a drive for anti-oppressive design, she aims to create social change through creativity. Inspired by her faith in Jesus, her roots and her love for story-telling, her work explores themes of womanhood, God/spirituality, Culture, Blackness, social concerns, Identity, Symbolism and beyond. Nana's primary mediums are Digital, pen & ink and acrylic.
