Valeria Dardano was born in Catanzaro, Italy in 1993 and spent her childhood in the small town of Albi, located in the southern region of Calabria. Distinguished by her versatility, in 2013 she started taking part in various exhibitions as well as national and international art residencies. Her work is defined by continuous artistic research regarding the investigation of environmental dynamics, the contemporary connection between humankind and nature, and on the resulting awareness of how lasting and inconclusive these connections are. In 2014 Valeria obtained her Bachelors Degree in visual and performing arts disciplines from the Academy of Fine Arts in Catanzaro, Italy. Valeria Dardano currently lives and works in Turin, Italy.
