Abena Osaah Asamoah is a visual artist and photographer from Accra, Ghana, whose practice explores the mind as both lens and medium. Born on May 27, 1997, in Agona-Ashanti and raised in Teshie-Accra, she began her artistic journey in 2023, translating her perceptions of reality into photography and visual storytelling. Specializing in street-style photography, Abena challenges conventional visual narratives by juxtaposing randomness and intentionality, immersing herself in her surroundings to become an active medium of expression. Capturing and editing all her work on a mobile phone, she demonstrates how everyday tools can create impactful art, while remaining open to expanding her practice across diverse mediums as her vision evolves.
