Ahmed Fawzy is an Egyptian artist whose practice is shaped by his deep ties to the rural countryside where he was raised. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant presence of animals, birds, and the natural landscape, his work uses these elements as metaphors for human emotion and lived experience. Through themes of memory, identity, and the passage of time, he reflects on childhood recollections and traditional Egyptian ways of life, merging them with contemporary approaches and influences drawn from Islamic culture.
