Lahore-based visual artist Ajea Zahid (b. 2000, Karachi) creates works that delve into the complexities of the human experience. Her practice focuses on reimaging the figurative, often incorporating gestural expression within a muted color palette to evoke a sense of introspection and contemplation. A recent graduate of the National College of Arts, Lahore, Zahid has already garnered recognition for her work, exhibiting nationally at the VM Art Gallery, Tagh’eer Creative Space, and Zahoor ul Akhlaq Gallery, and internationally at The Art Den, Dubai.
