Amelie Wang, born in Hebei, China, in 1997, has resided in the United States since 2014. She earned a BA in Art and Gender Women Sexuality Studies from the University of Washington in Seattle in 2021, receiving the Parnassus Graduating with Excellence Award in the Fine Art Department. In 2022, Wang was selected for the Fiskars AiR Residency in Fiskars Village, Finland. Continuing her education, she received her Master’s degree from the LeRoy E. Hoffberger School of Painting at Maryland Institute College of Art in 2024, where she was awarded both the Hoffberger Foundation Fellowship and a Graduate Merit Scholarship.
