Angel Miguel León Valiente was born in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, in 1990. At the age of 15, he entered the "Eduardo Abela" Visual Arts Academy where he specialized as an engraver. In 2009, he completed his thesis "Looking for a site" consisting of around 20 works between painting and engraving. Today, his work balances between photorealism and expressionism.
