Artist Profile

Anouk Schmidt
Illustrator from Hungary
Anna (Anouk) Schmidt is an illustrator living and working in western Hungary, whose work explores the intuitive, dreamlike spaces between nature, memory, and mysticism. Introduced to applied arts at the age of six by a master painter, Anouk's creative path has been shaped by over a decade of classical guidance and a deep connection to drawing since childhood. Through her project Anouk Arts, she channels a meditative state where time, space, and form dissolve—inviting viewers into symbolic realms that bridge the known and the imagined. Her work is inspired by natural forms, constellations, Eastern philosophies, and the spiritual-cultural movements of the 1960s and 70s, drawing influence from figures like Carlos Castaneda, Syd Mead, and Hiro Isonoo.
