Beth Fowler graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2021. Influenced by Amy Sillman’s own practice and Robert Rauschenberg’s extensive experimentation with colour and object, her art interrogates the very act of painting, and the space created as a result. “Pouring; flicking; dripping; splashing; brushing; blending; peeling; scraping; scrubbing; taping; covering; revealing,” is how Beth describes her work.
