Bisola Michal (b. 1998) is a multifaceted Nigerian artist whose practice bridges traditional and digital mediums. Beginning her artistic journey in high school, she started selling pencil sketches at 15 and transitioned to oil painting after formal training in 2012/2013. She refined her skills at Yaba College of Technology, majoring in painting, and works across oil, acrylic, gouache, and mural art. Between 2016 and 2020, she pioneered Living Canvas, a technique that involves painting on live models and objects to create lifelike illusions. Beyond visual art, Bisola explores hair design and language learning, and since 2023, has embraced digital art and oil animation. Currently studying film production online, she continues to expand her multidisciplinary practice and innovative storytelling.
