Chelsea Twiss is a Pukekohe-based artist who graduated with a BFA (hons) from Elam School of Fine Arts in 2021. Primarily working in printmaking and painting, Twiss creates emotive and ambiguous compositions characterized by pattern and textural elements. Inspired by worldbuilding, Chelsea develops her art through her own unique, imagined narratives, with many of the figures in her work representing glimpses into her imagination, like characters she knows and loves.
