Artist Profile

Chloé Hajjar
US-based multidisciplinary artist
Chloé Hajjar (b. 1996, Detroit, MI) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice merges metalworking, sculpture, printmaking, and creative technologies to explore the relationship between ancient craftsmanship and contemporary innovation. A graduate of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, she has also studied at the Penland School of Craft and currently works as an art facilitator supporting artists with mental health differences and disabilities. Her work examines cycles of innovation, obsolescence, and preservation—juxtaposing hand-finished techniques with digital processes to question how technology both threatens and revives traditional skills.
