Davina Hsu is a Taiwanese interdisciplinary artist based in New York, She works across fiber art, painting, interactive art, public art, and socially engaged practice. Davina holds a BFA from the Parsons School of Design and earned an MFA from the School of Visual Arts where she was honored with the Edward Zutrau Memorial Award upon graduation. Drawing from her spiritual awakening and heightened sensitivity, her work delves into transpersonal inquiry to examine vibrational energy, occultism, and social wellness. Her recent works focus on translating her energetic visions of vibrational elevation and spiritual realization into symbolic, vibrant, talismanic fiber sculptures. Additionally, she incorporates divination artistry to develop interactive artworks and initiate socially engaged projects that open dialogues around the interconnectedness of energy and the inner landscape. Through the lens of her transpersonal inquiry, she utilizes her guided insights, meditation practice, and transcendental experiences as creative input to weave the metaphysical connection between the intangible and the tangible in her multidimensional works.
