Artist Profile

Denisa Zajacova (b. 1995, Slovakia) is a London-based conceptual artist whose practice examines the contradictions of sustainability, consumer culture, and the material realities of everyday life. A graduate of the University of Westminster, where she earned a First-Class BA in Fine Art Mixed Media in 2023, Zajacova transforms discarded domestic materials into sculptural works that challenge ideas of value, permanence, and waste. Working primarily with reclaimed plastics and found objects, she explores how everyday consumption shapes both personal habits and broader environmental narratives. Her work has been exhibited at Bow Arts Nunnery Gallery, The Bomb Factory Art Foundation in Marylebone, and Fabrica in Brighton. Through thoughtful material experimentation and conceptual clarity, Zajacova invites viewers to reconsider the lifecycle of ordinary objects and the cultural systems that define their usefulness.
