Elia Vanderheyden
Visual artist based in Belgium
Elia Vanderheyden (b. 2000, Belgium) is a visual artist blending traditional printmaking with contemporary technology. Graduating from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp in 2024, he co-founded the collective printmaking space SPLINTER. His work explores two main dialogues within print: creating digital landscapes using AI and laser-cut woodcuts, printed in classical Japanese or Western styles; and producing textured landscapes through inking strategies for noise prints designed to neutralize visual overstimulation.
