Artist, teacher of Italian language and art history, Eliana Schillaci has lived in Guatemala for ten years. She has a degree in Italian language and culture with an emphasis in art history from the University of Pisa, Italy. It collaborates with different public and private institutions for the protection and appreciation of the universal and Guatemalan artistic heritage. Elements taken from the natural world such as flowers, trees, insects, birds, water and humans are his source of inspiration; elements that merge or dialogue with each other giving life to the suggestions of the imagination and the dream world.
