Emily Shedlock is a figurative artist based in Boston, MA. Using acrylic paint, she creates portraits that explore shadow work: a type of psychotherapy meant to expose and confront the parts of ourselves that we repress in an effort to develop true self-acceptance. Shedlock received a BFA in Interior Design with a minor in Fine Arts from The New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University in 2015.
