Artist Profile
Enrico Cecotto was born in San Donà di Piave in 1986. From his earliest childhood he showed passion for drawing, which led him to enroll in the Art School of Venice where he obtained his artistic maturity. In 2008 he made his first solo show in Venice entitled Happy hour which was very successful. Subsequently he patents a technique that makes his style unique and unmistakable: his works become paintings-sculptures made with different materials such as fabrics, wood and fabrics. Over the years, with a lot of study and dedication, he is able to further perfect his technique. This allows him to get noticed and, still very young, from 2008 to 2010, he is present at the prestigious Vecchiato Art Galleries with works selected by Dante Vecchiato. In 2010 he graduated with honors in Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. His career and his artistic path led him to Milan where in 2014 he graduated with a degree in Visual Arts at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. From 2010 to 2014 he attended the Department of Arts and Anthropology of the Sacred at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts coordinated by the art historian Andrea B. Del Guercio.
He currently lives and works with his art in La Salute di Livenza (VE).
